Key Responsibilities
1. Safety and Compliance
• Uphold the “Safety First” principle by following HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) rules and operational safety procedures.
• Report accidents and near-miss events promptly.
• Participate in HSE training and ensure the safety of yourself and colleagues.
2. Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in promoting and optimizing RCM practices, including inspections, preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance.
• Analyze equipment weaknesses and implement cost-effective solutions to improve metrics like MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).
3. Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting
• Perform routine checks and troubleshooting for electrical equipment, including power distribution devices, motors, drives, HMI and PLC controllers, industrial networks, field instruments, UPS, and air conditioning systems.
4. Equipment Monitoring and Collaboration
• Track the historical and current status of equipment.
• Collaborate with planning, production, quality, mechanical, and fluid teams to enhance productivity and reduce defect rates.
5. Project Support
• Assist with electrical installations and commissioning tasks for plant revamping and expansion projects as needed.
6. 6S and Spare Parts Management
• Continuously improve 6S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety) practices in assigned areas.
• Optimize spare parts management for equipment under your responsibility.
7. Team Learning and Knowledge Sharing
• Foster a learning and sharing culture within the team to improve collective competencies.
8. Reporting and Documentation
• Adhere to management procedures, complete reporting, and maintain documentation to comply with auditor requirements.
9. Cross-Functional Support
• Provide support for other maintenance and troubleshooting activities as required.
Education and Experience Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Automation.
Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in metal or industrial manufacturing industries.
• Previous experience in maintenance-related roles, especially in international organizations.
• Experience in preventive maintenance.
• Preferred:
• Background in aluminum roller production.
• Experience with non-standard equipment design or renovation projects.
Skills and Competencies
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Expertise in Siemens SIMATIC series and other automation products.
• Knowledge of computer science and industrial network systems.
• Strong schematic interpretation and skills in automation and power system maintenance and design.
• Ability to create detailed written schemes, engineering lists, and specifications for engineering changes.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
